Hello, everyone.

I'm trying to get my real estate license in NJ.  What's the best/quickest way to go about doing it?

Thanks in advance for your input!

Hello, everyone.

I want to advertise my wholesaling business using car magnets.  Does anyone have tips as to what the logo/magnet should look like?  Also, what should the magnet say to spark the most interest?  Are there any key words that should definitely be on there?

If you've got any other tips, please let me know.  I appreciate the advice.

Thanks!

Below is a description of the Meetup group:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Come meet your next business partner!

This group is for all types of professions and all levels of experience regarding real estate investing.

Are you brand new to real estate investing? Come meet like-minded individuals and get your foot in the door! I'd love for new investors to meet their first partners for their first deals at this Meetup.

Are you an experienced Realtor, Attorney, Broker, Mortgage Rep, Banker, Wholesaler, Portfolio Manager or other type of investor? Come speak! We'd love to hear about your ideas, experiences and advice."

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a new group and I'd appreciate input from members as to which days/times work best for everyone to attend.

I am starting a Cashflow Club if anyone is interested in playing the game.  I have 2 copies of Cashflow 101 and 202 at the moment, but I hope to have enough people attend for there be a need for more.  I don't have dates for it yet, but I'd like to have the first event sometime in July.

If anyone would like to get together to play sooner than that, just let me know!

The club is free, but donations are always welcome to offset the price of the games.

Thanks!

Welcome!

There is actually a meeting tomorrow if you'd like to join.  Make sure to RSVP.  Here's the link:

There's also one in Philly tonight if you don't mind driving that far:

I am brand new to real estate investing, and this should be a good opportunity to meet investors in and around our area.

There's only so much I can learn sitting here at my computer.  It's time to get out and meet some people.

I look forward to meeting you if you decide to go to either.  Maybe we can partner up on something someday.

Also, check out the "Events & Happenings" section under the "Network" tab.  This is where I found these events.  You may also benefit from getting a www.meetup.com account.  It seems like a very popular option for meeting people on BP.  You will probably see it a lot in the "Events & Happenings" section.

Additional info:  set up keyword alerts to let you know when a certain keyword is posted.  I found out about this post because I have "new jersey", "nj", and "jersey" set as keyword alerts.

Awesome, I'll be there!

Hey, guys.

I just moved to NJ last week.  Are you cool with a newbie showing up?  I have zero experience, but I'm interested in learning.

Thanks!

@Patrick Kucera

What do you do with it if you're out of the area?  Do you have a property management company handle everything for you?

@Joel W.

Lol, I'm actually originally from Alaska.  It will be nice to get out of here.  As far as using BAH, I'm one step ahead of you.  I've been searching for a multifamily (preferable a fourplex), and I'll be talking to an agent tomorrow to see if she has anything I may be interested in.  I'll be living in one unit and renting the other three out.  I was also thinking about buying the fourplex, renting all 4 units out, and just renting another unit somewhere nearby.  It seems like a solid starting strategy.

Hi, Jeffrey,

I don't have any useful information for you.  I just wanted to say I have been in the same boat.  I was supposed to be going to Germany, but I ended up losing that assignment and I finally found out last week that I'll be going to McGuire, NJ a little over two weeks from now.

It is certainly frustrating when you have no idea where the military will be sending you.
