@Nathan G. Yes, that’s what I was thinking. I’d rather pay the 10% and have majority of the work done for me than to have to worry about possible issues. BUT, I do also want the overall learning experience of doing it on my own. If I do it on my own, what tips do you recommend?

@Jon Crosby awesome, I haven’t looked at it that way. Definitely thought of that. Experience definitely comes in handy.

I am buying a new property and plan to rent the first one. Wondering if I should utilize a property management company or rent myself. Pros and cons of each one. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Hello all, Starting out, I plan to wholesale and then re-invest those profits into flips and rentals. My end goal is to invest in apartments for long term holds. I'm looking for other investors, wholesalers, and cash-buyers, in the Hampton or Newport News area that are interested in networking with me.  Thank you for your time, Elon Matias

Hello all, I am working on building my rental property portfolio and I am ready to acquire more homes. I recently purchased a town home 6 months ago and am looking at purchasing a single family to live in and fix up before renting. I would like to have someone who is experienced in the rental property field to guide me in the right direction and help make sure I'm making wise decisions. Maybe we could help each other learn new things and better each other in the real estate game. I feel everyone needs a mentor in this game to make sure they don't make mistakes that will hinder their future. Thanks for reading, Elon Matias

Hello I purchased a property with conventional financing in September and want to look for a second property to occupy. My goal is to turn the first property into a rental and live in the second property for a year through FHA and eventually turn that into a rental. What is the easiest way to qualify for a second property? Do I have to live in the first property for a year or no? I plan to have 5-10 rental properties in five years. Any feedback will help. Thank you for your time.
