@Matthew Krickeberg

Matthew,

We ended up going forward with the car wash that we had been looking at. It's been a great investment except one thing you should be aware of is that it is not a passive investment. You will deal with people and maintenance issues. But as far as an ROI it has been great.

Also we upgraded to a credit card readers on everything and have definitely seen an upgrade in amount per wash in the SS bays. We did not do subscriptions but I personally feel like that will vary largely on your individual market.

Hope this helps

Hi Jesse,

I’m wondering if you ended up joining the Personal Mentoring? I ended up not joining Brads group but do have plans to join another group. With that being said, do your research throughly before you join any group. Check out podcast #69 from Think MultiFamily. There is some great stuff on there about what you should look for any a mentoring group. I didn’t even realize these groups exist until I attended R2R and then started doing research and found out that there is a lot of groups. I think they are all priced in the 30-50k range which is not bad for personal mentoring if you are actually getting the mentoring they tell you that you will get. Either way, if you do join a group make sure it fits your values and your goals. I would love to connect and follow your success story. Here’s to your success!

@Reginald Ross

Great numbers, are these deals syndicated. How did you get started raising money? Through someone’s program or did you build an investor network on your own?

Best of luck to you.

@Cassidy Burns

Great post.

My goal is to add 150+ doors this year.

Raise $6 million in capital.

Find 2-3 GP’s to partner with.

Sell a SFR that I have in FL.

Best of luck, Play full out.

@Dave Carpenter

Awesome, thanks I will look into them though at this point I think we would have to replace our machine before we offer memberships.

Hi Dave, we ended up going through with the car wash in the end of January. So far it has been cash flowing well. its definitely more time consuming than we expected though not as bad since we figured out the logistics of it. Our IBA is a Ryko SoftGloss XS that was installed in 2008. Its definitely on the old side and will need replaced in a few years but other than that it hasnt been to bad. Definitely a learning experience though.

I would love to know more about your experience in the industry , what type of IBA equipment do you have, do you offer monthly subscriptions, etc.

Hi guys, so I am considering joining Brad Sumrok's mentoring program to become a personal student through the Sumrok program. The only thing is that its very expensive ($30k). Is there anyone on here that is part of the Sumrok program or has any thoughts on it in general. Thanks
