My name is Elliot and I'm currently a NYC resident and i would like to ask for guidance on where to start investing in NYC i would like to invest in a multifamily unit here in NYC but the prices are a bit high. I have a good credit score 8000 about 40K saved no debt but prices in New York are way too high any advise or anyone in NYC that has invested here. Any input is appreciated it. Thanks

@Christian Rampergas

If you post an ad that says we sell houses it’s that illegal in NYC. ?

Greetings bigger pockets family,

I want to start a buyers list of potential investors in my area. However I’m having trouble debating what should I write in my ad. I don’t want to sound like I’m illegally selling properties. By the way I do not have any properties under contract yet I’m just trying to build a buyers list using ads to attract potential buyers!!!

Does anyone have a clue what to do. By the way I’m doing it in NYC if anyone is familiar please let me know thank you.

Elliot

Good Evening Everyone

I’m a newbie to the investing game here in NYC.

I’ve done quite some research and I would like to know if rental properties in NYC are a good investment. I manage to save some money I would like to invest it in real estate but I don’t know where to start. I’m so lost and confused and maybe someone who’s currently investing can walk me or at least provide with an insight on where to start.

If anyone is currently doing it in NYC please let me know how to start and what to look for.

Any feedback is well appreciated, thank you.
