Hi Jessie and thanks for posting. This sounds wonderful. Would love to get more involved. I'm not on Instagram... but will try and look up the Rookie Podcast and learn more :)

I see the same things that you are posting above. I have better luck with my one bedroom suites or studios. As for the 3/2 house- Furnished Finder has been a bust for me. Zillow and Airbnb have been much better.

I'm interested in the same question. I check in with individual adjusters consistently and have it listed on about 6 or 7 platforms. Since I only have one 3/2 mid-term rental (the others are 1/1's and studios that I rent pretty consistently with FF), I find it difficult to keep the home rented. I'm just getting started though, so am interested in how folks manage only one mid-term rental home with adjustors.

Thanks for the question :) e

Andrew, This makes a lot more sent to me. I think there's more to know though. Is there a specific reason why ALE runs their operation the way they do? If you created an operation where the state run partner connected with PMs-- would that essentially create a separate business entity or position in the corporation which might carry the consequence of deleting current positions?

In any case, your idea makes more sense. I like it. Would love to be that state run partner :) e

I have lots of luck with FF- for smaller units like a studio or one bedroom. It's not as great a lead for a furnished house... where insurance companies are a better fit.

I have done the same thing as Monica. I use a long term rental lease and make changes re: furniture, prorated days of stay, parking and number of guests allowed to stay.

@ Michael Haas- I'm looking to get something -'super-hackable' in the Roy, Yelm region of Washington approx 40 ish minutes or less to JBLM. Would love to connect. I tried filling in your contact form... and it didn't seem to like my email or my phone number? Maybe just a glitch.... Look forward to hearing from you :)

Quote from @Jonathan Styer:

I think it's worth it. We manage many mid term properties in the Columbus, OH area, and while we do not get all our bookings from FF, for $100 a year it's a no brainer. Those are bookings we would not have gotten if we weren't on FF.

We list our properties on AirBNB, VRBO, Google Vacation Rentals, Furnished Finder and our Direct Booking website. Short and mid term rentals are marketed 24/7, the more you're out there, the more you'll make.

Agreed. I mostly get medical professionals interested in booking one bedrooms or studios. I love the quality of folks I get with FF.

I think there are folks interested in both options. Usually, it’s always better if you are closer to a hospital or amenity. I’ve always had healthcare workers rent their own vehicle 🚗
