Does anyone know any reputable property managers that manage properties in Hidalgo county? I've been looking at a few small multi family properties in the area that look like they can give decent returns. On a side note, is anyone concerned that the area is getting saturated with a ton of small multi family inventory? It seems like the building will not stop anytime soon. I'm just not sure the population growth will be able to absorb all of the new inventory.

Thanks for the response.  I have only lived here for about a year, but the locals that have lived here their entire lives have told me how much it has grown in their lifetime and it crazy to imagine experiencing that kind of change. Safe travels!

I'm interested in buying a small multifamily in Arkansas from a seller, but I just noticed on the local tax assessor's site that the ownership history in regards to deed type goes:

deed - sold 1996

special warranty deed - sold 2017

quit claim deed - sold 2017

Should I be concerned or will going through a title company and getting title insurance cover me?

Thank you

@Matt Looney , can you please PM me Pinnacle Home Inspection's contact info? I might put a property near Little Rock under contract and I want to be ready with a home inspector.

Thanks

I deal with used oil drums (hazardous waste) at work all the time. We have an environmental/ hazardous waste company pick up the drum for us. I would suggest you call a local environmental or hazardous waste company to give you some guidance.

My coworker invited me to a Ron Legrand seminar being held in Los Angeles early January. Has anyone ever been to any of his seminars? Is it worth the $100 fee?

Thanks.

If I don't find a rental property within the next six months, I'm thinking about house hacking a small multifamily in San Bernardino County within the next year. I haven't been able to find anything that breaks even, if I had to rent out all units, in any area that I'm interested in. I've only been checking online, but I plan on reaching out to a broker soon to start actively looking for MF I might be interested in.

Thanks for all the advice guys, but I ended up using Turbotax. However, I decided I need to have a professional complete my taxes this upcoming year and would like to find one by year end. Does anyone know of any good CPAs with real estate experience in the Los Angeles County or San Bernardino County area?

Thanks again.

Hi everybody,

I'm starting to look into small multi-family properties in the San Antonio market, but I would like to get some input from local property managers. The northeast area of town has quite a bit of new 4-plexes for about $500k that look interesting and I also see a few 4-plexes near Leon Valley that look interesting. Can anyone please refer me to a solid property management company I can talk to get a sense of the neighborhoods?

Thank you.
