Hello everyone! I recently just purchased a duplex near a local hospital. I work for the competing hospital in my city. I’m curious if anyone here rents to travel nurse or medical staff and if you would recommend it? How does it compare to doing a standard lease? And what about wear and tear on your property?

I also have a question about future investment properties, is it better to save cash our put more money towards a current mortgage and then use the equity from that mortgage as a down payment on future deals?

Hello, my wife and I are currently in the process of buying a duplex and plan to house hack it and live in one side. Currently I’m wondering what is the best way to insure this property. Landlord insurance with my own renters insurance? I’m completely open to any and all suggestions!
