Welcome! Local here as well, from Dallas. Definitely try and go the house hacking route. Might be tough to find a MF in DFW but they are available. Just might take some time to find the right deal.

Welcome to DFW! I've been down here a while, originally from Buffalo, NY. Hope you're ready for the heat. DFW in general is pretty slim when it comes to MF properties. They can be found but it is very hard. Almost all of north Dallas (Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen) and north Fort Worth are growing very rapidly and steadily. Student housing is pretty prominent in Richardson due to UTD. 

@Kenneth McKeown is a realtor here in DFW who can probably help you out with MF properties.

@Andrew Campbell Man, what a great accomplishment! Huge congrats to you and your team! This is such a great motivational story for a new guy like myself.
