@Wesley Jeanette I to am a Colorado native was born in Boulder.  I now live in Kansas City and am a real estate investor.  The landscape here is interesting because we straddle the state line and renting properties on both sides have their ups and downs.  I would be open to discuss both with if you are open. I do not know any other market but Kansas City it can give you insights if you want to invest here or not.

@Snehann Kapnadak Q39 is really good but if you go on a Friday night you will be waiting for 2 hours.  Joes kc is fine but I like some of the less known places like Woodyard or Slaps.  I could possibly be free then, PM me and we can see if we can set up a meeting place and time.

He David, I know a lot of my investors use Alpine Property Management in Kansas City. They have done a pretty good job getting good tenants and taking care of the property. Message me if might want to discuss the landscape of REI in Kansas City.

I have been working through off market properties to find properties to wholesale and one that I could keep for myself.  I have been finding deals in a part of Kansas City that has a lot of Hispanic people in it and another investor told me he had been owner financing deals to a lot of hispanic families because they have cash and typically pay their rent.

I have no idea how to work an owner financing deal and I was wondering if someone might be able to help me with direction?  How does the deal work? How to I charge interest? What happens with the title while they are paying off the property?

If someone can help me I would really appreciate it.

James, Are you in Kansas City now? Or another area of Missouri?  The MAREI is a great place to start networking with other investors and you can learn about all the other events happening in the area.  There is also Investors that meets every wednesday at 9 @ lucky brew grill in mission Kansas.

Hello My name is Eddie and I am in the Kansas city area.  I have known about wholesaling for a long time but never know when or how to get into the world.  My fiance and I are trying to plan out our future and we both work corporate job that we get by with but we need to make a change to live the life we really want to live.  I was doing my miracle morning(book by Hal Elrod) and I was praying what Robert Kiyosaki taught me I need to get bigger than my problems.  All of the sudden wholesaling popped into my head and I started researching it.  I found simple wholesaling podcast and it led me here.  I have met plenty of people who will fund me and people that will buy my projects.  I am going to start driving for dollars after my family vacation next weekend and I have already started combing craigslist for potential deals.  I am actually looking for a job with a flipper in the Kansas City area so I can earn and learn while I get my business going.  I would love suggestions. I'm glad to be here.

Eddie
