Hi,

Want to purchase my first STR investment home. I decided to shift my research away from Joshua Tree/Yucca Valley due to saturation. I've also crossed out Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead for same reason. I've been looking to Idyllwild or Crestline areas. Are there any investors who have invested there? Are you cashflowing? Maybe there are some hidden gems that I'm missing. Maybe lake Isabella? I don't really trust the AIRDNA data, it seems off to me. Any advise or pointers is appreciated.

can you drop a link to your Yucca Valley rental? Been looking out there for 2 years now and thinking to switch towards Crestline/Cedarpines area instead possibly due to saturation.

you cannot build anything within 40ft, unless you apply for a removal permit (13k) and it takes 6-8 months to get it approved. I backed out of escrow in YV because of the trees and looking to buy a ready to go home so save the headache.
