I'm in New York City and I'm planning to invest in residential properties. Trying to get my first flip going and hopefully keep going from there. I have some savings, but everything is very expensive here in NYC. I think I'm going to need some hard money. Depends on what deal I can find though (that's a whole different animal).

Yes, you're 100% about protecting myself under an LLC. That is the best option. Thanks for your comment.

Hello All, I've called a few hard money lenders to get funding information. They all have told me that I will need to have an LLC before they can start the process. Are there any hard money lenders that lend to individuals or I will need to create an LLC ?

Hello Everyone,

My name is Eddie. I currently reside in Brooklyn, NY. I'm an IT professional at a law firm in midtown Manhattan, but want to start investing in real estate. I'm planning to move to Boca Raton, FL in the near future and would greatly appreciate any tips and/or guidance on how to find good property deals for rehab/flipping. Thanks in advance.

Amazing ! In what state did this take place ? It's impossible to find such cheap property here in NY.
