Hello Bigger pockets,

I am a new long distance investor. I want to purchase David Greene's book "Long Distance Real Estate Investing". How would I write that off? Would I simply tell my accountant to expense it on one of my properties next year on the Schedule E when he does my 2018 taxes?

Thanks in advance

Hello Bigger Pockets, I am creating my first LLC in Alabama to put a couple of my rental properties into. It seems that one of the requirements is that I have a Registered Agent and address of the Registered office that is local in Alabama. I am not sure what do to at this point because I am an out of state investor.

Can someone help me out?

Thanks

wow, I had no idea. Thanks Eric

Hello Bigger Pockets,

I am interested in purchasing a single family residence investment property in Indianapolis and I was told by the real estate agent that if I purchase it as an investment property that the property taxes would double. They mentioned that primary residence owners get a tax exception. The property is in Marion county which covers the whole city. I have never heard of this before. Is this accurate?

Hi Jeff, I just looked through your website FAQs and it says that you company refers out the property management. I thought full service turnkey was when the turnkey owns and operates the property management company. I am interested in your thoughts. Thanks

Thanks Jared,

My property manager contact at AHI has been Doris Tucker in their Huntsville office. The home I purchased was marketed for rent by Renters Warehouse in July 2017 through October 2017 and then AHI took over right before I closed on October 26th 2017.

I would be happy to speak to you about it. I will private message you if you would like.

Thanks
