Awesome, can you please introduce us if possible. Is he on BP?  If not, I can PM you my contact info.

Thanks again!

Thanks for sharing @Payton Pearson. I asked my realtor to start sending me deals from Dayton, OH too. I hope I can find a deal there soon.  I might try to connect with Colleen Carr to see if she has anything that she can send my way.

Looking forward to hearing more from you in the near future!

Sincerely,

Eddie Espinal

@Marisa R. Thank you for sharing all these info. I was able to read all 3 pages in this post and got butterfly in my stomach. I'm going to ask my realtor to start sending me some MLS deals from those Tier 1 and Tier 2 list you posted. I'm also based in Atlanta and I currently owned two rentals here. But I want to get on the Detroit bandwagon after hearing so many positive / negative feedback on the topic.

Looking forward to sharing my story once I'm able to pull the trigger.

Thanks again!

Hi Guys,

I'm going thru this same experience right now. Someone took the pictures of my listing on Zillow and is trying to scam people via Craigslist.  I was able to call him first thing today and was able to record the conversation to share with you guys.  It's crazy how these Scam artist trick people.  I'm including the audio recording below for you guys to witness how these guys conduct their business.

I already removed the lock box from the house and also removed the for rent sign.  The property management already have a potential tenant that will be moving on the first.  I really hope this guy gets caught before someone else lose their money.

Link to the Conversation of me talking to the scammer.

Play Conversation

Is there anything else I should do?

Thanks.

Eddie.

Hi guys, it's been almost 10 months since I've joined the bigger pockets community and since I purchased my first rental property.  I'm excited to announce that I've closed on my second rental property yesterday June 30th, I feel super happy and excited to take actions thanks to the motivations from this website and the BP podcast.  @Joshua Dorkin & @Brandon Turner you guys rock!!!  Thanks for all you do for this community!

Excuse my excitement I'm just new to this :-)

@Account Closed, I don't know if I can give you tips at this early stage, but all I can tell you is that the process was easier than what I thought.  The important thing is to get started and try to find a good property and buy it.

Thanks @Account Closed. Yeah, I've been so inspired by the show that I finally decided to get started.  I'm already looking on my next property, I hope I can find something quick and buy my second one before end of the year.  I'm getting the property ready right now to place my first tenant by the end of this month.
