What are the Pros and Cons of getting a RE license and what are your recommendations. Any thoughts would be appreciated as I'm very new to this.

Thank you very much for both replies. IREM is something I have not heard of but will definitely look into and take advantage of. Obviously I'm looking at the broader sense of things at this moment, so anything like this would help tremendously. Thank you for the recommendation I will definitely look into this. Anything else anyone has would be of great appreciation.

Also, if anyone has any suggestions on anything regarding the money I have now, to build credit, or just anything in general to increase my advantage upon entering this field in a few years. I know this is broad, but any ideas or opinions would be wonderful.

Hello I'm 19 and currently finishing my freshman year at college. My name is Ryan and I have recently become increasingly interested in Real Estate Investing. I am currently majoring in Finance and am planning on beginning REI as soon as I graduate (possibly before if everything permits it). I plan on doing as much research and homework for the next 2-3 years as possible so that I am well prepared for my first deal. Thank you before-hand for all of the knowledge I'm beginning and will continue to recieve from all of you.
