@Jaz McWilson there are plenty of ways for you to get started. You have to be creative. I flipped a house with 540 credit and no money, I had to find a partner. Also, found a seller finance deal, I put no money down, received 2k down from the end buyer as down payment. Now, I’ve fixed my credit, joined the military and utilize va loan with very little money up front. Learn the skills to create deals.

@Paul Bermingham thank you for the reply, Paul.

I will be married receiving BAH. My thoughts are to use the VA loan for personal residence, wife doesn't seem to like the house hack method. May be able to get her on board, finding a duplex would be great utilizing a VA loan. The BAH would cover primary residence and looks like I will be able to pocket extra. Looking for houses in the 50-120k range. BAH is $1400. For rental properties, I thought about using the BRRR strategy to buy with hard money. Will have 10k saved, I'm also able to save $1000 a month that can be applied.

@Matthew Nislein both, I’m trying to figure out what the best strategy should be for me

@Matthew Nislein I pcs there in January. Looking for properties in and around Jacksonville now.
