My name is Dustin and I am brand new here to BiggerPockets. I am looking to implement a buy and hold strategy for sfh with good cash flow and appreciation. I am thinking of taking a 20,000 Heloc. How do I refinance that to turn that into a 30 fixed on the rental and get rid of the Heloc. I am looking for someone to answer questions step by step as I do my first investment property without making mistakes.

I am looking to take out a Heloc of 20,000 on my primary residence. What are the rules for turning that into a 30 year fixed rate so I can get my Heloc back and prevent the adjustable rate on it.
