Appreciate the information. I really do need to set up a time to talk with you about this. I am quickly realizing that I need to start creating some other streams of revenue.

@Lucas Carl

Thanks bud! Ive been looking at a few areas and trying to get a feel for good areas for STR. I know you and Avery have done well in smokey mountains, but going off airdna, they tend to show a very low occupancy rating.. is this because most of the bookings come from other sites?

We have a house in Houston that we are running as a STR but HOA is complaining so we are selling the house and looking for new options for STR. Want to know thoughts on good areas to look :)

Hey guys! I would like your input. I have been looking to see if anyone had some experience in short term rentals in West Palm Beach, FL? Any recommendations on realtors in that area who have some experience with them?

As of the last week of October I started my first STR in Houston using Airbnb and it has gone over and above our expectations! We currently for November are sitting at about 57% occupancy using only Airbnb. My question is for anyone who has STR experience in Houston, is there any benefits to adding our place to HomeAway or VRBO ? Would the supposed higher fees be worth trying to use multiple platforms? Love to hear yalls thoughts!

@Benjamin Vail That is very neat, and I would love to hear how you make that work for your clients, to see what I can expect and what sort of benefits it may have for me as the home owner.
