@Rick Trivedi Thank you for the information and will definitely looked into it.

@Jeffrey Donis Of course, what was the biggest difference between Legalzoom and Incfile? Pricing, customer service, etc.? Could you please share that for me?

Thank you All!

Hello All, thank you for jumping on this topic and all your feedbacks are greatly appreciated. @Rick Trivedi I will read the link that you've provided and I am sure I will find the useful information for sure.

@Lisa W. I've read that CA is waving the $800 fee due to COVID-19 and it's my understanding that that will go through 2022.If I start my LLC this year, then I will only get 6 month benefit. But, I will look into this further.

@Account Closed Thank you for the useful information. I'll look into the umbrella insurance & dba as well.

Again, thank you for taking your time providing the useful information that I've looking for.

@Aaron W. Thank you for the response and much appreciated. I've heard IncFile and will look into them as well. I will make sure I will not comingle any funds once I open them.

Once again, thank you for your help.

I am new to the forum and I am glad that I found this. I actually have two properties (still paying mortgages) in CA and I am planning to turn one of them into a rental property. I've researched, watched and read many and I would your expertise on LLC (Single Member);

Q1) Should I create LLC on my own or should I use online service (Legalzoom)? Any feedbacks on Legalzoom? Pros and Cons?

Q2) Once created LLC, what type of insurance should I get for rental property?

Q3) Any other items that I need to get?

Like I mentioned, I am new to this so your feedbacks would be appreciated. I am planning to purchase more properties down to road (not right away).

Thank you in advance.
