Hi Charles, are you interested in volume or just a few?  Also, is LED important to you?

John, I'm out of Chicago also. Are you working up a building valuation analysis and applying the new IRS Tangible Property Repair Regulations? It might be worth looking into because determining what parts of the building relate to the unit of property and what parts relate to the tangible personal property would allow you to make future expense vs. capitalization decisions based on each component of the building.

Hi Robert,

Are you open to hearing about building analysis and the new IRS Repair Regulations?

Hello All,

My name is Donna and I'm a newbie from Chicago, IL new to RE investing. I have a background as a mortgage L.O. and was greatly affected by the housing crisis. I'm currently preparing to sit for the Illinois RE exam.  I'd like to do note flipping deals and learn the ins and outs of investing. But I'm most interested in commercial real estate and identifying cash flow through cost segregation and as a property manager. I'm looking for mentors/partners and colleagues to share and collaborate with.

That's a little about me. I look forward to meeting new people and to learning and sharing information and strategies.  Happy Investing!!

Hi Andre, I'm a newbie to investing. My background is in mortgage origination but I no longer have an interest in that. I'm working on my Illinois RE license and would like to work commercial deals with the goal of identifying as many cost segregation appropriate properties as possible.  Are you ever involved with commercial properties?

Hi Amanda,

I'm a newbie to BP. I read your post regarding your interest in commercial real estate. I too have transitioned to the commercial side of real estate. I am also researching a strategy tool that applies only to for profit commercial property. You might get a lot out of checking out the website of the Cost Segregation Services, Inc. I've learned a lot about cost segregation from them. Also check out irs.gov and search for cost segregation.

Incorporating cost segregation into your business can be an asset. If you'd like to discuss please feel free to contact me.

All the Best,

Donna C.

Josh,

Hello, I'm a newbie to BP. Going through discussion threads I came across your post.  Are you a commercial real estate investor?  I am currently studying for my Illinois RE exam but have been researching cost segregation as a strategy in commercial real estate.
