@Frank Patalano These are very good responses. There are a number of things that are affecting my ability to move forward, some more heavily than others. I have a good paying full time job and I’m a single parent. I’m a bit risk averse right now because of a kid going to college soon, I’m lacking a bit in self confidence that I can do it on my own, being recently divorced, and I’m not sure if I will have enough free time to start out and manage an investment. I did manage to get my RE license to help me get started, and I’ve been looking around for potential deals, but still unsure if I can actually do it :(

@Michelle Shelley hi! I saw a couple of meetups in Frisco and Plano in the next few weeks, I’m planning to go. Let me know if you want to go too. I see you’re in Fort Worth, I read it’s a good market for RE investing.

Hello, looking to meet like minded people nearby. Would love to connect and maybe do some type of partnership. I’m new to RE investing, so I’m hoping to learn some practical experience from others.

Please send me more suggestions. I'm still looking as the one I've contacted are not members of the realtor board that I'd like to join. I prefer to be member of MetroTex because I heard that it's the largest in my area. Appreciate it.

Hello, I just got my sales agent license. I'm looking for a broker sponsor. I'm doing this for my own investments only, so I don't need any formal training, office space, generate leads etc. Preferably an annual fee and per transaction cost. I've emailed a couple of prospects but did not get a response back. Let me know if you know one that is investor friendly. Thanks!

Oh my goodness, the saga continues lol Sorry to hear about your woes. I am getting ready myself to go to an auction tomorrow for the first time. And I've learned a lot just by reading your post. Thanks for sharing and I hope this will be over soon!

Jassem A. Wow 0% I have not seen that yet. I just did a quick google of my 'city local credit union' and saw their rates online, it's ranging around 4.25%. Perhaps I can try the yellow pages?
