I'm relatively new to this and I could use some help locating the bad apples in a neighborhood. Without driving around of course.

Are there any good online spotting sites?

Thanks,

Hi,

I'm DJ. I want to invest in RE. Like most people here...right?

I have some experience on the agent side. I've been an assistant and marketing manager in my wife's RE business for about 2 years. I'm working on my 90 hours of license courses with The Rockwell Institute now. I'll be licensed by the end of March. My wife and I will be agents together in the Puget Sound Federal Way office at Keller Williams. I'm becoming an agent to help with my wife's investor clients, while she focuses on listings. But, I want to invest for myself.

I've had interest in RE for a long time. I tried to convince my dad to flip a house with me when I was still in high school. I want to invest in properties to produce cash-flow. It just makes sense to me. I'm sick of this paycheck-to-paycheck BS. Someday (sooner than later) I want to take my family traveling around the world and not have a single worry about how much I spend.

I've built a house, many barns, sheds, fences and other structures. My dad owns a landscape company in Indiana and that was my job until I went to college. We did our own repairs on our house. So, I'm not afraid to tackle a job if I have to.

I have a AAS in Industrial Drafting and Design CAD. I've worked on some aerospace projects for NASA, Boeing and Lockheed Martin etc... I'm not sure if that is relevant, but I still think its cool.

I have a contractor who is also a home inspector. He is the inspector we like to use for our buyers inspections and seller pre-inspections. His company also does the construction for a large hedge fund in the Seattle/Tacoma area.

I'd like to start with one property, finish it, then grab another or two. Before the next recession; I want to own enough rentals outright to have a solid cash-on-cash cash-flow. Nothing going out and all of it coming in.

I was in OEF in 2005. I was hit by an IED and event...ually was giving a medical discharge after 11 years of service in the Army. I am an all-day-every-day-got-to-go type of person, so sitting back and "enjoying" my retirement was NOT an option. So I'm here to learn, share, network, make some money and have a life worth living. Care to join me?
