I know that everyone's time is valuable, so thank you for reading and I will keep it short for you. If you don't read anything else, at least skip to the last paragraph.

My name is Derrick Quarles. I am a 24 year old graduate from the University of Kentucky and I am in the process of acquiring my MBA from the University of Kansas online. I recently passed my exam to become a licensed real estate agent in the state of Kentucky as well. I am a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., in which I held the position of Keeper of Exchequer (treasurer) for 2 years during undergrad and am an active member of the alumni association. I became obsessed with real estate in February of 2017 and know that this is the way I am going to accomplish everything that I set out to accomplish in life.

I am looking for investing partners. Someone who is willing to do whatever it takes to achieve success. I am most interested in investing in commercial real estate, both multi-family units (apartment complexes) and office buildings. I time block 2 hours every morning to analyze deals in several different states so that whenever I come across the investor/group of investors ready to partner, I am prepared and able to provide instant value by bringing numbers to the table that can be proven. I attend productivity coaching once a week to ensure that I'm being accountable and taking the massive action that is required to achieve the massive goals that I have set. My financial situation is that of the typical 24 year old graduate, although I am far from average. I'm exceptional. I'm obsessed. I refuse to be or do anything average. If you are an investor or know of one who has achieved a level of success and/or is interested in providing opportunity for another to get there, while at the same time building more wealth, then I'm who you need to contact.

Thank you for your time

Hello to the BiggerPockets community!

I know that everyone's time is valuable, so thank you for reading and I will keep it short for you. If you don't read anything else, at least skip to the last paragraph. I'm so excited that I took the action of getting involved in such a beneficial movement. I became even more enthusiastic about BiggerPockets when I made my first discussion post and received so much valuable feed back. I've been a member for about a month at this point and I'm really starting to utilize the resources available. Now, that's enough praising and onto the value.

My next question is are you able to receive better/more financing by using the LLC, especially if one of the members is in an exceptional position financially? Me, a good friend, and his father (the money man) are the 3 members of the LLC. Does the LLC make financing more flexible to attain? I’ve read mixed reviews about this online.

Thank you all for the input. It was a major help. This was my first post. To have so many people actually comment and provide me with value, it makes me love the BP community even more.

Is it worth it to create an LLC when investing in commercial property with a partner? What are the major benefits? We found a great deal and the numbers add up. Will we be able to receive better financing by going through our LLC? Enlighten me about using an LLC for our investment portfolio
