Post: How to find investors?

Can anyone with experience working with investors share how those relationships started?

My partner and I have self-financed into 7 properties, focusing on duplexes and triplexes.  We authored a prospectus to help us raise $300k for our next project aren't sure how to find people who might consider investing.  Any idea where investors "live" and what messaging resonates to show we are capable of managing the project?

Thanks!

Hi, partner and I looking to acquire 6 additional properties in 2023, rowhome/residential, NE Baltimore county, and in search of a team that wants to help get them rent ready.
Current, trusted crew, can't get to our next property for a few months as they are tied up on a big pharmacy/strip mall project, so we want to open up the opportunity to others

HI Paige,  I'm also new to BP!  Recently sold a rental property in Baltimore county and using the proceeds to pick up two more (Both in Baltimore County) -- one with a friend.  Both he and I are trying to grow our network so we can build the portfolio up a bit.
Maybe we could connect and strategize?

Hi Jordan, can't say I'm super experienced but as I'm new to BP, I'm all about connecting with others in the Baltimore area.  Picking up an off market duplex, and it was the network that made that happen.
