Keyonte Summers I do plan on being an out of town investor. I am currently planning a trip there. I want to possibly go when there is a meetup happening.

Detroit has caught my eyes and I want to connect with those that are active in the city. Feel free to contact me. I want to learn the city and plan a trip there. I’d like to plan my trip around the time that there is a meet up happening if possible. I’m looking to flip properties and acquire rentals along the way.

Hello all, it's been a while since I've posted anything in the forums. I've been busy searching for deals, writing a book, I began my motivational speaking career as well as preparing to re-launch my clothing brand.

I've been actively looking for deals in the South LA market, but haven't had much luck. I've been cold calling anomy partner is door knocking people I can't reach via phone. We are receiving responses, but no interested parties as of yet. WE WILL KEEP GOING.

I have been searching other markets and I really like what Detroit has to offer and I see a lot of potential there. I am planning on taking a trip out there so that I can meet with some locals and get a real feel for the city. I would like to go and attend a meet-up so that I can hear everyones stories and gauge the market. I am excited about doing so. I plan on potentially partnering with someone on a fix n flips so that I can build capital and purchase some rental properties along the way.

Feel free to share your experiences in the last few months in your market also, the good, bad, and ugly.

To piggy back off of Joe Homs I personally like driving my target neighborhood and identifying “ugly” homes in a neighborhood. When I bought lists I noticed that some are fixed up indicating that the owners care about their place. I like to mail and call the owners of the ran down homes.

Neal Daniels congrats and welcome. Not sure how far south you’re looking, but South LA is seeing growth. Also a lot of San Gabriel valley still has homes that are affordable. Most may need updates, but there are opportunities out there.

Joel O. Appreciate it. I’ll be in the look out for CPA’s and attorneys.

Solomon Ganz never too late!!! Go for it. Time will pass regardless might as well take steps towards achieving that goal and slowly make the transition. Maybe start out under a broker and help them out on your spare time while working on getting licensed. I haven’t read any other comments, just your post. So I hope I’m not repeating what anyone else has said,
