Hello there, I am looking for residential real estate agent experienced in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Please PM me. Thanks

Bill Gulley thanks!
Hello BP nation, I am a foreign investor and working on my first passive investment deal in Multi-family deal in Dallas, Texas. I need professional help in structuring my legal structure in US for this purposes and what would be tax implication in US and abroad (in India). Any advise or recommendation on experienced RE attorney and Tax advisor highly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Dilip Gandhi

@Cassie Sherie Hi Cassie, I would agree with Trevor on his tips. Another way is to use HELOC to purchase another property and use both the rentals to pay off the mortgage EMI. This way in few years your properties will be free and clear, while generating cash-flows. You can follow similar process to purchase another asset.

Hope this helps! Good Luck and happy investing.

Hi all,

I was talking to one of the local reputed bank for home mortgage for foreign nationals in USA. He mentioned that one of the requirements is to have TIN number.

Although, I'm browsing google for some information, but highly appreciate if someone can advise on how to obtain TIN from abroad?

Thanks in advance!

Dilip

Thanks J Beard for the advise. I would still need to put my head around the structure for max benefits.

Hi all,

I am negotiating to purchase multi-houses portfolio in Las Vegas

Although, there are tons of reference on BP about this, but have a specific question.

1) Is there any difference for LLC structure formation for US citizen and non-US citizen residing outside US.

2) Which is the best state to register LLC company to benefit from minimum tax and annual registration charges. E.g Delaware

3) What all charges should be considered before LLC formation.

4) Will there be different structure for single named LLC and partnership LLC.

Any guidance in this regard is appreciated.

Thanks and regards

Dilip Gandhi
