@Raul R. Thank you! Im paying off student loans and a little bit of credit card. I know it’s not profitable, but my cash is in the bank, I just don’t know where to put it where it for sure won’t go negative. So for now I’m working my regular job and saving and learning the basics of REI before I make any moves.

Hi all,

I’m completely new to real estate investing. I watch some YouTube videos and listen to podcasts (mainly Grant Cardone but open to more informative ones, too) and just got his book How to Create Wealth with Real Estate. I am interested in this sphere and would like to learn the terminology, how to do the math and all basics of RE.

A little about me:  I’m from NYC, in my mid 20s and have some money saved up that I’d like to put to work but need to know more about what to do with it. I am looking into moving to Texas soon, so I know I’ll most likely have a pay cut if I do. I’ve never worked in sales but I think that’s what I need to experience in order to grow my income (my current job is completely unrelated to anything here). Do you think it’s nexessary to be a broker or get a real estate license to be successful?

Thanks in advance!
