Yes , meetups are regularly scheduled. The local REIA is "Metrolina REIA" it has a lot of different weekly and monthly groups and a large monthly meeting as well. There are others in the market too. Give me a call when you are here and I'll give you the scoop

@Michael Baldinger I live in Matthews too. A good networking event upcoming is Metrolina REIA on Feb 15th, 7:00pm.. Speaker is Ki Shin, CPA , regarding tax changes. He works primarily with investors.

Another great real estate CPA that a lot of investors use is Ki Shin, he will be speaking at the Metrolina REIA next Thurday evening , Feb 8th , 7:00 pm on the recent tax changes. Meeting is at Crown Plaza hotel off I 77
