Hello!
Real Estate investing is something that I have always been very interested in and "now" is the right time for me to finally jump in.
In a perfect world, I would like to invest in my current community here in Southern California where I would be close to the properties, but I also understand that this might be difficult or impossible to find properties, which ultimately are cash positive.
I am located specifically in Palm Desert, California with the neighboring communities of Palm Springs, Cathedral City, La Quinta, Indio and Coachella.
We are a resort community with a major population influx between "season" and "off season" and with so many different investment options such as buy and hold (long term rental vs. short term vacation rental), flipping, etc., I'm really curious to find other people who may have either previously invested or currently invest within the Coachella Valley to see what has worked for them.
I definitely want to explore all avenues that could work here locally before venturing out of the area, but I'm well aware that it might be a better idea to head out of state for better opportunities.
I'm really looking forward to any input.
Thanks in advance!
