I live in Rhode Island and am looking to get started. I'd like to get some networking under my belt so I can begin the journey. I currently own to properties; my parent's home in which they live and my own home. Now, I'd like to start acquiring some income units. 

@George Blower Wow! That's a lot of info! Thanks so much. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending how you look at it), I won't qualify under the Cares Act. I haven't been adversely affected by COVID.

By the way, how is the market in Marin County? I lived out there back in the late 90s. Spent some time in San Rafael and Kentfield. Miss that part of the country.

Hi BP Universe! I'm in my mid-50's and just starting out. I have a small 401k of around $20k. At this point in my life, I see little opportunity for big growth in that plan. My question is, would it be wise to close it out and use it to fund a RE investment?

@Patrick Froehlich I'm starting in my mid-fifties. Working on finding my first deal. Better late than never I guess.
