I originally had a court date of 9/6/2021 for non payment of rent. I figured I can file breach of lease for all the things they violate, smoking in property, damages to property, no rental insurance & etc. Got court date moved 2/10/2021. Tenant was a no show, and I got default judgment. I had to wait 10 days, for the appeal process to which they didn’t appeal which expired on 2/20/21. I filed for possession on 2/21, I got the sheriffs office scheduled for 3/1 at 10am. These bums, has now filed yesterday, 3 different motions, emergency motion for new trial, motion to stay, motion to vacate judgment. All in a few hours. It was laughable to see them scrambling for ways to stop this eviction.Keep in mind the have not made any attempts to get help, to pay off the past due amount which is available to them. I will spend the next few days seeking assistance, and be ready at 10am, with a six pack and lounge chair to watch them leave. Damn BUMS!
