Josh, this is super helpful. Seems like a fair amount of red tape before you can build. I saw links to some commercial shipping container set-ups in Oakland & Sacramento (office buildings). I found this site out of Sacramento: http://www.taynr.com/home.html. I kind of want one for myself! They’re economical and creative and finished products are nice.

I've been intrigued by these Shipping Container homes. I observe that they can be quite versatile and cheaper than conventional housing. End products look pretty neat and it is nice that they are also eco-friendly. I'm out in the Bay Area, California. I have not seen these homes out here. I'm curious if anyone has experience in buying, building, and/or selling these homes and what the upsides/downsides are?

Yes! I am on David’s mailing list. His next June meeting is on the evening of my niece’s graduation, but I look forward to attending a future one. David is awesome.

Hey everyone. I recently became a BP Pro member and looking to start rental property investing. Wondering if there are any real estate meet ups in Contra Costa County? I live in Antioch. Thanks!
