Jake thank you! It’s a multi unit which would be part owner occupied and part rented. Going to community banks is good advice. Appreciate the quick response.

Does anyone know of mortgage lenders like Cash Call who can re-finance investment properties for a good rate?  I recently looked into Cash Call and their rate is 6.5%.  It'd be great to find other options with better rates (at least a point less)?  Thanks in advance for your feedback!

@Thalia G. I agree! It is such a huge issue, you’d think the government would get more creative about solving the homelessness problem.

Minh, great to hear. I agree - affordability is a big reason I think bringing container homes to the bay area would be good (as well as other tough markets). The CA market especially near SF is incredibly expensive. There are working families getting homeless shelter assistance because their jobs aren’t enough to qualify for housing. Crazy! Anyhow, I was going to reach out to a container home company in Sacramento and inquire about it further. I’ve only seen commercial real estate container projects completed in this area. If I get any valuable insights, I will share them.

Bay area California BPers, anyone know a good foundation person in the east bay? My friend is working on a construction project and is looking for an expert in this area. Thank you!
