Welcome @Jeffery McBride

I too am from Davis County. I am specifically doing wholesaling and bird dogging. The deals are there, especially if you have access to cash, hard money and/or private money.

I believe the next meetup is this Thursday at 6:30 at the Huddle in Cottonwood Heights. Correct me if I am wrong but that's the last I heard.

I want to personally thank everyone who came out last night, this was my first meet-up and it was invaluable. Although I didn't get to meet everyone, I learned a ton. I hope we can continue to do these in the future!

@William Hochstedler

I am an industrial/commercial electrician, I do very little in the residential market. Which believe it or not, there are a lot of differences in the market, I am not really connected to the residential market. I also work full time in this industry, so that being said, making it to the lunches would be very difficult. I am going to try and make it to the night time REA's and the BP meetup this week.

What are the costs of the REA's in each area? With the HUDs I have heard about some niches within that area, guess we will see, maybe foreclosures in the future, just looking to go where everyone else is not. Thanks for your comments and hope to see you in the future.

@Jeffrey S. Breglio

I have heard many people mention you and your amazing credibility, I knew you were an attorney but didn't realize you had a title company tied to you as well, sounds great. I will keep in touch once things start to materialize with investments!

  1. I am looking to start flipping a few houses in Davis/Weber County area, and a bit ahead of actually getting started, but I am curious about suggestions for the following:

Realtor who is an investor also and knows HUDs well,

Good general contractor,

Title Company,

Good hard money leads,

Suggestions on insurance needs,

Wholesalers,

Any other suggestions

I have been digging into forums, watching webinars, listening to podcasts and trying to learn as much as possible. I haven't made it to any REA's as of yet, but I am planning on joining soon. Thankssa in advance, this is definitely a great resource.

As for myself, I would love to have an evening meetup, I know there are a lot of us who still work full time and the daytime meetup wouldn't work, but whatever the group would like is great!

@Jake Isaac sounds like we just need someone to make some decisions, plenty of people interested, time and place would be great.
