Within the next few months I will be getting my real estate license in Iowa.  What advice do you have for me when I am pursuing a broker to work for?  I am 21 so I am wondering what it will be like when I approach a broker as a student with a year of school left but a Finance degree on the way and real estate license almost complete.  If you were in my position what might your steps be?

Please connect if you are from Iowa, have knowledge as an agent or REI!

I am wrapping up my 60 hr. pre-license course online for the real estate sales person exam and I just want to know how your experience was with getting your license?

I know that many states have different processes with taking the exam and getting your license. I am from Iowa and I am planning to take the exam soon. What tips do you have for preparing for the exam? How did you study?

I am a senior in college now so I assume that studying a decent amount should put me in a good position to do well.

Like everyone I have listened to the podcasts, watched HGTV, and had a small internship with a realtor.  I am in the process of getting my real estate sales person license and I will be looking for jobs to fulfill my interest in finance and real estate.  The one thing that is holding me back is the fear of failure.  I would love guidance on what some of my next steps could be when getting into the real estate world.  I have no income and would love to invest someday but in the mean time I wanted to help others by being an agent.  What are some ideas on what my next steps could be to move towards being a successful agent, investor, and more?
