Great advice, Darren. I'm seeing decent cap rates in places like Yonkers and Pelham. Any other areas I should be looking at?

Thanks for the welcome. I think the City itself is probably out of my price range and doesn't offer the cap rates I'm looking for. More likely, I'll be looking farther out, even Connecticut or New Jersey.

Hi BP Community, I'm excited to be moving from Hawaii back to the East Coast, ideally in the New York or D.C. area, but I'm flexible. I'm a writer now, but in an earlier career I used to manage small apartment buildings. I hope to transition into apartment ownership now. Any advice or warnings?
