Hello all!

My wife and I are brand new to real estate.

We recently had an offer accepted on a three family which is located next to a fire station. I reached out the fire department. they stated that Last month they went on 50 alarms, mostly "hot calls" (siren used),  with 75% of the calls between 2pm and midnight.

Should we back out of this deal? The location of the property is in Salem MA with close proximity to the downtown and commuter rail.

any advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Good morning all. this is my very first post in the forum. My wife and I are in the processing of purchasing our first ever property. It is a multi family in Woburn MA. Our offer is accepted and we are contemplating signing the Purchase and Sale Agreement. Yesterday we received startling news that a High Voltage power line is set to be installed in CLOSE proximity to our potential investment property. The numbers currently make sense but we are concerned with the potential Health risks as well as how this could effect us being able to rent the units in the future or selling  the property a few years down the road. Looking for some feedback/suggestions as we are terrified of making a huge financial mistake. Would you still purchase?

thank you all in advance!
