Nirmal Khanderia thanks! I have read that and I'll be sure to read it again! I've also read Brandon's book "investing in real estate with no or low money down" and his investing for beginners books a couple times. I even spent the $1 on Ron Legrand's wholesaling course. So I feel I have a lot of knowledge but still would like to speak or work with someone in my state that can truly show me the way.

Brand new to real estate investing and looking to use wholesaling as a starting point to grow my capital before diving into buy and hold rental properties. Would love the opportunity to shadow or learn the ropes of wholesaling in Illinois from someone who is an established investor with plenty of knowledge and experience with wholesaling. Or at the very least a guide of where and how to start. Thanks!

If you truly have no money or credit to start into this venture. How can you use private money for buying property used for rentals when due to being given such a short term on the loan?

Hey Everyone,

I give a brief description of myself and situation on my profile but I'll repeat myself here real quick as well.

I am a 24-year old father of two girls currently struggling to make ends meet. I have about ten years customer service experience, five years of management experience, and am currently working in high end automotive sales. My wife works two jobs as a bartender and waitress. I got introduced to this idea through a current successful real estate investor through the meetup app. I am just looking to network further and learn as much as possible about how to start making money through this venture and become financially independent.
