Congrats on the success, @Account Closed!  I love the common thread of perseverance throughout your story.  You know your numbers going into it -- there were ups and downs, but it sounds like you could always gravitate back to the fundamentals and your long term vision.  Looking forward to seeing what you take down next.  I'm located in San Diego, primarily focused on the east coast, but monitor AZ due to the proximity. All the best moving forward!

Hey @P R. - if I understand the situation properly, I believe you'd be looking at a HELOC (home equity line of credit) on Property 1. This will give you the ability to access the equity to purchase Property 2, and you'd only pay interest on it when the line is actually in use. Hope this helps!

Hi, Everyone --
We hope this note finds you well and enjoying your Summer! Unfortunately, we will be postponing our event tomorrow (8/27) until further notice. As much as we'd love to get everyone together as soon as possible, we're a little hamstrung with the current facility restrictions. As always, we'll continue to monitor the local guidelines, and look to connect again in the near future!

If you should need anything Real Estate related in the interim, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Cheers,
David

Hey, @Jordan Bloomingdale -- your VA Loan is a great tool for getting you into a house hack. If going the multifamily route, look for something that you can also add value to, renovating one unit at a time during the course of the hold. Best of luck moving forward!

Hey, @Christopher Cooley -- if you haven't had any luck going through the USPS directly, you may want to reach out to your local utility provider.  In the case of electric, they should be able to give you an idea of how they have billed in the past, and this should match your mailing designations.  Hope this helps!

Hey, @Steve Shaffer!  Congrats on the successful portfolio to date.  I like your outside the box thinking here.  I'm wondering if there's a middle ground here -- would it be at all feasible to purchase your own truck/gear and service/charge your own portfolio as a test run?  If all goes well, you could then build out from there.

If you did plan to vertically integrate in the future and bring management in house, I could see this idea making sense because you are already planning to move in that direction.  Best of luck with this, I'm looking forward to following along.

Awesome, work @Lane Kawaoka!  What's the business plan here -- did COVID impact your financing or closing at all... lower leverage?  Congrats, again!

Awesome job, @Ron Seay -- I love the additional leverage option through a CD deposit.  Did you turn all 28-units before bringing it back to the market... and what was the hold period?

Best of luck with the sale!
