@Kayla Givens thanks for responding to my post! I am glad that you are in a career that you seem to be liking much more than your last one. I am also glad to hear they you are seeing success as an agent! That’s so cool! Hopefully that will be me in a year or so also. After listening to everyone’s opinion on here I’m thinking that I might spend a year or two at my current job while building up my real estate agent business and acquiring a few more doors. We will see how it goes. If I do decide to bail on the W2 I will keep you in mind as motivation! Hope you had a great weekend.

@Edgar U. thank you for taking the time to lay this out for me! Finding a great team and using my current job as leverage is awesome advice! It also feels more organized to me to have one stream of income covering my expenses and one stream providing money to invest with. Thanks for this input and I hope you had a great weekend!

@Jonathan Greene thanks for the input! I appreciate it. I like what you said about waiting until being an agent is more profitable before switching and acquiring another property in the mean time. Solid advise.

Hi All!! My girlfriend and I are in the process of purchasing our first house hack and couldn’t be happier to finally be investors! My plan was to continue moving every year or so to acquire rentals but I am getting pretty burnt out working as a dental hygienist. I am getting my real estate license and would love to transition into that full time but am running into the issue of financing. All I do is think about real estate and feel as tho if I burnt the ships and committed full time to becoming an agent I could be more successful in a career I enjoyed. I don’t want to slow my ability to acquire properties tho. If you were in my position what would you do? Thanks for your time BP!!

Good morning BP! When someone says their house is cash flowing for 200$ a month can we assume that number is calculated after money has already been set aside for reserves? Thanks!
