There is a duplex I have been waiting to buy that has been on the market for a while. I had to wait 6 months to be able to take out the equity from my primary residence (FHA) for the down payment on the duplex. Well, January 7th will be 6 months and then I can start the process of purchasing the duplex. The only problem is today while browsing Zillow and Realtor.com, I discovered that it has been taken off the market. I do have a realtor that I am working with and who would tentatively help close the deal. I was wondering what would be the best course of action in trying to acquire the duplex? Wasn't sure what dynamics would be changed by the listing being removed?

Eric F. That was the first book I read that got me into real estate a few years ago. I am currently working full time and attending online school part time for my associates in business management. I was wanting to take a break from college to focus on work and investing. That is the main issue they have is not finishing college.

Hi, I'm 21 and getting started in real estate investing. (Buy and hold rentals) I was wondering if anyone else who started out younger has dealt with your family trying to discourage you from pursuing your this career field? Just curious how you may dealt with the situation and eased the family tension.
