We just bought our first investment property, a 2-unit home on the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico.  Interviewing property managers and caretakers and looking for some sort of checklist that would help us in knowing what to ask and look for in a good property manager.  We're figuring things out as we go, but was hoping to see what others with vacation rentals do if they don't live close to the property.

Hi Adreinn,

My wife and I are new to REI and Bigger Pockets and we are exploring potential rental properties in Vieques. We traveled there last year and really love the island. It seems like a good place to invest, a place to stay on vacations and have a long term home for the future. We would love to connect and get some feedback from an island insider.
