I have purchased and rehabbed two SFRs over the last year, rented them out, and refinanced. I just purchased my third and am beginning the rehab on it. I am realizing that my bookkeeping through quickbooks is not as robust as I would like. What is the best system for bookkeeping for rehabs, rental income, and maintenance?

I'm mid-60s and was "retired" two years before I'd planned to. I am getting into real estate investing to generate income for my wife and me. I've bought two single family houses (Jackson, MS area) already and am rehabbing them now. At my age and need to generate income for the future, is it wiser to buy and hold or BRRRR, or just flip and resell? Please share your wisdom out there to help me.

I was in property management in Jackson for about ten years before moving out of state for a career in education. I just returned to Jackson after 30 years gone and want to get started again with investment properties (primarily buy-and-hold or rehabbing and reselling to help people get their own home). I love Jackson and have great hopes for its future. I want to give back to the City that gave me so many good memories. There are many good people here, some of whom have not had the blessings I've known so I want to help them by providing safe, attractive, and affordable housing. I'm not trying to be a millionaire; I just want to make a living while helping others do the same in this great City.

I'm sorry I missed yesterday. I wasn't sure where it was to be held. Please keep me in the loop for the next one.

I have recently taken early retirement and returned to Jackson. I was in property management and real estate investing here years ago, and now plan to relaunch. I am eager to meet any other real estate investors in the area. Please let me know any details for the meet up.
