@Myrtle Mike Thompson Hey Mike! Thank you for reaching out. Do you have time for a quick call sometime this week?

@Lance Bentley Yes, it's a bigger pockets bootcamp.  I believe they have a few different options, one for "rookie", "multifamily", "str"  I think there might be one more but I'm not sure.  Here is the link for the str bootcamp.  https://get.biggerpockets.com/...

@Jezelle John i signed up for the str bootcamp starting next week! I decided 100% I want to invest in beachfront properties bc the beach is where I love to be. After crunching some numbers and looking at where I can get with a direct flight, we landed on Myrtle Beach! 1 STR by 5/22 is the goal!

@Rick Estacio yes this one worked. Beautiful listing!

It’s inspiring to you that you don’t have to be ocean front to get bookings.

@Rick Estacio would you be able to send me the link? When I copied that to airbnb it just brought me to their home page. Id love to see that property

@Rick Estacio. I used to go to long branch quite often. My wife and I would hang out near pier village and have drinks at the tiki bar at the ocean hotel. We’ve been traveling further south lately though. For those fixer uppers, how far from the beach can you buy and still expect a decent return?

@Kurt S.  Quiet and safe sounds amazing to me.  I loved that about wildwood crest.  We only hit the boardwalk when my wife said so lol  I'm going to look into brigantine.  I really want a piece of the shore for myself but seem to be priced out.

@Rob Elder thank you for that input.  for some reason I had a feeling it looked too good to be true.  Do you know of any shore points where a regular condo, or sfh has a lower cost of entry? 300k or less?

@Joseph ODonovan My family and I went to WIldwood crest this summer and last summer and had a great time both trips. I hear ocean city is a great place too. Ive been seeing studio - 1 beds from 120-300k in hotels with rental programs. Do you know anything about those, or own one? I’m curious if people are typically happy owning them.

@Kurt S. That’s awesome! I’ve actually never been to Brigantine. Do you have a private house or a condo down there? Is that a family friendly beach?
