Hey, I’m a new investor. My primary home in the poconos is rented out while I’m away for 13 weeks at a time for work. This nontraditional house-hack inspired me to learn more about investing and that led me to BP. I’m looking to invest in the south jersey or Philadelphia area. I’m currently in Austin, Texas for the next few months.

Post: Cash out refi w/ higher interest rate but no PMI or HELOC

Hey Todd, I’m in a similar situation. It seems that banks won’t do a HELOC on an investment home (primary only). The closing takes place in your living room. If there is a (legal) way around this, I’d also love to know. Refi rate was too high. My PMI is 1%. Losing pmi didn’t cover the difference in new rate. I’m still considering in order to have opportunity cash. Good luck.

I'm a new investor from the Philadelphia area.  I'm in town for the summer for work (Travel RN).  I'm excited to attend this event.
