@Melanie McDaniel

Thanks Melanie, I’m going to research 506b offerings. My income is high enough, but I just started this job and haven’t made 200k in the last two years, so I don’t meet the criteria to be accredited yet. I’ll do some homework and see if it’s something I want to get into. Thanks for your input!

@Evan Loader

Thanks for your input! A lot of people here seem to like syndications so it’s something I’m currently trying to learn more about. Might be the best option from the other side of the world. Thanks again

@James Wise

Wow James, great information! I’m going to look up TK companies in that area and get as many reviews as possible. Thanks!

@Melanie McDaniel

Thanks Melanie! I can totally see you point about smaller single family properties, one big unfortunate event can wipe out a lot of a lot of cashflow.. I’m going to look into becoming accredited and learn some more about that Avenue. Thanks again for your input!

@Evan Polaski

Thank you sir! As you can probably tell, I am a new investor and am still learning a lot. I’ll have to learn and explore more about how to become accredited. Thanks again!

Hello everyone!

I’ve been an avid BP reader and listener for a while now and I am finally getting started with real estate investing.

I live with in Asia so unfortunately I cant do some of the strategies such as house hacking or even be involved with renovations in person. I am a US citizen and plan to return back to the states in about 3 years. I just bought my first property which is a turkey property, but I want to know if that is the most effective strategy given my situation. So my question is this:

Should I continue purchasing TK properties, or is there a better strategy for me?

I am putting away 9k per month towards towards REI, but I want to try and get some feedback from this awesome community before I start putting it all into turnkey real estate. Thanks!
