@Celina Sherbrooke

 there are a lot of factors that need to be explored when it comes to selling raw land.  Does it have water rights?  How large is the parcel?  Which direction is it from Albuquerque?  Give us some more details and we might be able to help you out.

Nice to see another local Investor in RR!  Make sure to check out the local REIAs (NMREIA and Albuquerque Acre).  Let me know how we can help.

@Account Closed

 welcome to the forum.  This is a great community of like minded folks.  I would highly encourage you to attend some of the local REIAs.  The NMREIA meets this Wednesday at the Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center around 7 PM.  Let me know if you have any questions I can help with.

So are you saying that someone else will be managing your property for you (I.E. a property management company)?

Welcome to BP @Seth C.!  Are you managing these for your own portfolio, or for someone elses?  That will make a  big difference in how things need to be handled, especially in NM.  To be general, in New Mexico, most property management accounts are non interest bearing by statute.  There are more rules, but it really depends on what you are trying to accomplish.

Andy,

Welcome to BP.  Everybody has something to offer, what is value can you bring to a deal?  My advice is to find some local active investors and take them to coffee or lunch.  Figure out what niche you want to be in an then go from there.  I am local, let me know if I can help in any way.

@Samuel DeMass

 I am in NM, our main focus is fix and flips, but we also hold.  Competition for REOs is fierce in our market.  The same goes for rentals.  What area are you interested in?

Welcome aboard!  I know you are from SF, but make sure to check out the semi-local REIAs in Albuquerque.  They are the NMREIA (http://www.meetup.com/NMREIA/) and the Albuquerque ACRE (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Albuquerque-Congress-on-Real-Estate/158307277539164).

While I mainly focus my investing activities in the ABQ Metro area, I am always happy to share and collaborate.  Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.
