I won't make this one but plan on attending in the future. Glad to see a meetup has started up again from a few years back!

Welcome, Sean. Nice work on networking, educating yourself, and getting the systems in place to move once you find a deal! I am an architect in the area and have experience in dealing with construction and have also funded a few flips in the area so I have some knowledge and network base for rehabbing. Because I travel for work a decent amount I am always on the lookout for a partner for a buy and hold or rehab. Let's connect some time soon!

@Mike Dymski I would also be interested in learning about your properties if still available. You can PM me or send an email. Thanks!

Welcome, I am a fellow investor in the Greenville area and live in Simpsonville. Good luck on the new career path - Greenville is a great area for real estate! If you ever have any commercial properties that need floorplans to help with marketing, I have a company that specializes in measuring the properties and providing graphics for the floorplans. A lot of our clients find the floorplans helpful in addition to photographs when marketing to potential buyers/investors. We also offer photography and other marketing documents if you ever need it.

Hey Everyone,

It's been awhile since I've responded to all the inquiries on here. My wife and I recently had a kid so I've put a hold on organizing meetups for awhile. As far as I know, there is a lot of interest for a meetup but I haven't come across anything that has been put together through BP. If someone wants to head it up, i would suggest having an agenda/goal for each meeting. Coffee Underground was a great place to have it at, but make sure to call ahead and reserve a space. Once i get organized I will try to set one up in a few months.

Hi Dan, welcome to the site! My wife and I live in Simpsonville and do some investing in the Greenville area. Right now we are focusing on funding/partnering on flips, but are starting to build our network to begin finding those great deals for buy and holds. If there are ever any deals you come across you would like to partner on or have me check out (boots on the ground), I would be happy to help you out!

Hey Oliver, welcome to the site. Its a great resource to have and find answers to many of your questions. I can vouch for Chris C. as I have worked with him on a deal in the past and he is a great person to talk to and ask questions. He always makes time when I give him a call or shoot him some emails. Good luck on your investments!

Thanks for the input everyone. I drove around the area and walked through a few of them with the sellers. The area isn't the greatest, but the current owners have had them for 15 or so years and have had little vacancy. The homes aren't listed on the MLS because the owners said they are protective of their tenants and don't want to sell to any random person. I will be checking the area out a little more in the next few weeks to see if its something worth pursuing. For reference, the homes are located near Toxaway park in Anderson if anyone has any experience or thoughts on that area.

Looking for any feedback (good or bad) on anyone who has rental homes in the Anderson, South Carolina area and any good property managers they have used. I am looking into a deal where the Owners are looking to retire and sell their 13 single family rental homes. All of the houses are within 2 miles of each other and vary in price from $32,000-$45,000. Rents ranges from $450-$600 a month. Thanks.
