Hey guys,

I am new to BP and have been reading some of the things on here, this seems like a great resource to have. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction on where to go or how to get started in this area? I know there are some REI meetings and renters meetings for Genesee County but I am not sure if those are the meetings I need to attend to learn and build relationships. Any ideas would be absolutely wonderful.

I am new to all this and was wondering if there was still anyone out there that is attempting to either Flip or Hold rentals in Mid-Michigan. Genesee County has been hit VERY hard but I have a feeling there's a lot of money still to be made around here. Anyone have some suggestions on how to get started in dicey areas. I am not looking to hold or flip in the city of Flint but rather the surrounding areas and counties.

Thank you and my best friend lives in Montrose. We are both looking to flip houses in the northern Genesee county area mostly. I'm glad to see there's others from MI here, I was affraid that all the more honest people were heading out of Michigan.

I just signed up for this site myself and I am in pretyt much the same boat as you (just a few years older) where I bought a house just before market crashed and I am seeing houses around here (Genesee County) go for dirt cheap. I am interesetd in getting into flipping or possibly renting so I an open to learn anything I can at this point.

Since you are from around the same area as me, any pointers you have from using this forum would be greatly appreicated.
