Hi Jacob,

I'm an agent in Eugene and While I have done business in Albany I would not call it my specialty, so I just want to be upfront about that. I have also lived my whole life in Eugene area. (Albany is 45 minutes away) I do get deals come across my email from Albany and if I do I'm happy to send them to you if you want. I also can send out some "feelers" to see if there's anything available or coming up.

I'm also happy to refer you to an another agent that does work in Albany more often if you would like? Just let me know and I'm happy to help.

Thanks @Marshall Downs for sharing. I'm currently looking at a hard money lender who will do 100% financing for flips. I've done 5-6 flips with my father-in-law and everything was in his name but I really want to get one in my own name. Any comments/recommendations as to whether or not I should go hard money or try to find a private money lender as you did?

HI Huan,

I assume you're talking about a specific property there? I can help you, I've lived in lane county my whole life and while I haven't purchased in Oakridge, I have in Eugene, Springfield and surrounding areas and been to Oakridge many times. Let me know if I can help. Thanks!

Hi I just going BP recently and saw your post. You probably already found someone but I would be happy to help! I have purchased and helped many clients purchase REO's. Thanks!

Thanks @Jason Hirko. That is what I told him, that anyone can have their day in court. I really appreciate your information. So, at this point with only a couple rentals, should we set up an LLC? Also, are you saying setup on LLC for management and then setup one LLC per property or one LLC that would hold all the properties? Thanks again!

Hello,

My wife, her dad, and I have done a few flips and have a couple rentals and as we look to grow it bigger the discussion of setting this all up under a business name with a LLC. My father-in-law and I debated over it a little and he just doesn't see the value in doing so. I mentioned the liability standpoint but he said that "They could always come after us in a civil suit!" and I didn't have a good reply to that.

Can someone please give me the Pro's an Con's for setting up an LLC?

Thanks!
