@John Warren would you say South Berwyn close to Harlem is still one of the highly sought after areas? Also, would you happen to know the going rents in that area for a completed updated place that's a 2/1?

Russell Brazil with your statement, will the credit union offer such a loan and hold not it instead of sending it over to Fannie Mae? Are there other types of loans she can try for through the credit union to provide her the same outcome as a 203K or does she have to go with a conventional big bank to receive any type of funding for her rehab on her property? I appreciate you taking time to share your knowledge on this matter with me. DC

Hello, I'm speaking with a friend whom is planning to buy her first home. As I'm speaking to her she also wants to do a 203K loan, I told her she should check with credit unions verses using Wells Fargo. She stated credit unions don't offer 203K loans. Is this statement a true statement? I'm not sure if her information is correct. Your input on this would truly be appreciated. Thank you DC

@Mindy Jensen thank you for the advice and info, I totally want to own in my city, I'm currently in Alexandria VA right now, I come home as much as possible. I've only been out this way for 7 months. When I make it home next I will totally make sure I'm at the meet up. I do hope as I become more versed and actually learn what questions to ask, I will make sure to pick your brain as well, if you don't mind.

@Austin Hughes Thanks for that tip, I didn't know I could speed them up, but yes absolutely addictive. I promise you read my thoughts. I get so into the podcast that I always forget to grab a notebook and write out the info that are gems to me. Hello All,

I'm Darrell Campbell, I'm a complete novice and I'm here to learn as much as I can. I seek to have freedom and walk away from my job. I don't like working 120 to 140hrs in a pay period and having no time for myself. Life is more than clocking in and clocking out(in my eyes, I don't knock anyone who enjoys this type of career). 

I'm interested in Buy and Hold, Flipping with the right return in sight and Multifamily. While learning I do hope to meet some great people here, whom I may be able to invest my money with while I learn more each day. I would rather my money work for me while I'm learning, than just sitting while I'm waiting to get in the game. 

Lastly, I want to say this site and actually the podcast I found first has been so incredible to me over the last week. I have literally listened to 15 of the podcast in less than a week. Love this the best information I have ever found online with the fluff gone about Real Estate!!
